Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Day 1
I've decided to blog. It seems like a major waste of time, and a distraction. I need that. So let's get this show on the road, as my 'Thumbprint Radio' plays on.
To the Internet,
I got up late this morning. My parents are in Port Angeles looking at houses, and my grandma is staying with me. She doesn't really bug me to get up, so I was late from the beginning. I fed my goats in record time and I packed a quick lunch, no breakfast.
I made it to orchestra, my first hour class, at a normal time, a positive turn in my day. I loaned my friend a cardigan for her costume for our upcoming concert, which is on Thursday. But Thursday is also the first of this week's final four Oliver! showings. Not to be hateful to my teacher, but I would much rather be there than our 5-12 concert.
The kids in Oliver are great, and the music is fun to play, unlike the twenty measures of Aquarium from Carnival of the Animals. But I'm attending the orchestra concert because it'll be my last one here. Second hour was fine, we did strength training in PE, the only good part of the class to be honest.
The day passed pretty normally until lunch, where my best friend Melissa reminded me of the boy that had Instagram messaged her his number on Monday. I took that opportunity to text him, and continued to text him until 6.
Melissa is the busy one this week, she doesn't have time to meet up and model for the photographs we'll take sometime before I leave. I'm going to paint her hands a few different times and we'll go from there. There was an English substitute teacher, who seemed to like me, which was nice. With that the school day was over like a breeze. I rode the bus home with Annika and Madra.
As soon as I dragged the garbage can into the garage and got the mail in, I settled onto the couch to watch a few episodes of The X-Files and do my geometry homework. After feeding I came inside and continued working on homework, mostly watching the TV.
I decided I should try on my costume for the orchestra concert, the cello/bass section is pirates this year, so I was getting some items together. I decided it would be perfect to have a sword, so I ventured outside and cut a few pieces of cardboard out, spray painted them, and duct taped them together.
But now I'm sitting here, at my desk staring at my laptop screen, listening to Sleeping with Sirens' Feel and wondering what sort of things I should do with myself now. What's my point. But, my dear internet, that's a problem for another day. Today's problem is figuring how to break a boys heart for my little sister. Hope you don't read this Jakob. If you do somehow, I'm sorry. Kind of.
